The City of Oshawa is celebrating National Youth Week April 30 – May 7
Exciting activities and events are coming to your nearest recreation facility!
Events will include:
Friday April 30:
NYW Kick Off & Pizza Party at South Oshawa Community Centre
3:30pm – 6:30pm
Scavenger Hunt
Massive Manhunt
Free Swim 6:30pm – 9:00pm (ages 10-17yrs)
Monday May 3:
Garbage Can Art Project on Display at Legends Centre
Tuesday May 4
Yoga Class 13-17 years at the Legends Centre
7:00pm-8:00pm
Bring a yoga mat if you have one
Wednesday May 5:
Open Mic event at the Arts Resource Centre
Thursday, May 6:
Teen Night at Northview Community Centre (in collaboration with Eastview Boys & Girls Club)
7:00pm – 9:30pm
Movie Night
Open Gym - Basketball
Try out your texting skills in our Texting Contest
Friday, May 7:
Youth Night at Donevan Recreation Complex
8:00pm – 10:00pm
Free Swim 8:00pm-10:00pm
Bring your skateboards, inline skates and wave boards on the Arena Floor!
