Charlie Bone and Shadow of Badlock

Jenny Nimmo
5/5 Stars
REVIEW: Charlie is a picture travellor and he travels into a picture of “Badlock”. He travels with his friend’s dog one day and when he noticed what a horrible place it was he left, but his friend’s dof Runner Bean got stuck in the picture. After rescuing his friend’s dog, his friend Billy Raven came over to his house for the weekend. His friend Billy ended up getting sucked into the picture of Badlock!
Charlie goes back into the picture (when he finds it) and he tries to rescue Billy but Billy is under a spell and does not want to return to his ‘real world’. Charlie ends up rescuing his ancestor. Charlie reunites his ancestor with his wife through a ‘history wall’. At the very end of the book Charlie realizes that his friend he thought had drowned (in the middle of the book) was alive!

Drillbit Taylor (MOVIE)

4/5 Stars
REVIEW: Drillbit Taylor is homeless and is looking for money. Three kids hire him to be a bodyguard from a bully at school. Drillbit’s plan was to steal stuff from their house but he realized he really wanted to help them. He ended up getting the bully arrested and cut his finger (pinky) off from grabbing a sword before it hit the kids.

CosmoGirl Total Body Workout

5/5 Stars
REVIEW: The book was great! It was very helpful. There were so many different moves you could do in a workout. Some that I’ve never heard of before. Also the book was great because it had lots of pictures to show you what to do and it explained how to do them as well.

Aquarium & Pond Fish by David Alderton

4/5 Stars
REVIEW: It is a non-fiction book. It is a great book with hundreds of fish. Each fish has a picture so I can see what the fish looks like. I have some of the fish in the book. It shows the size of the fish, what they eat, and how aggressive they are.
